Yes. You can choose not to participate in a particular activity. However, the group itinerary will continue as scheduled, and unused inclusions cannot be refunded because activities are booked in advance for the group.

Staying together - Not necessarily. The itinerary is designed to include a balance of group experiences and personal exploration. Some optional activities may be better enjoyed in smaller groups based on individual interests.

The goal is to experience South Korea together while still giving you some freedom to explore.

if I am late for a group activity? Please be punctual. Korea is known for its punctuality, and private coaches or other group transportation cannot always wait for late travellers. If a delay causes the group to miss scheduled transport, you may need to arrange your own transport to the next location and any additional cost may be yours.

Optional activities are at your own expense. If you choose to add something outside the included itinerary, Trips with Cherry will not bear the cost of that activity.

5. Trip managers Assistance - What to Expect?

Your TWC trip host is your group guide, support system and travel buddy throughout the scheduled trip. They are there to keep the group moving, help with the planned experiences and make the journey as smooth and fun as possible.

At the same time, this is a hosted group trip, not a private tour or personal concierge service.

What Your Trip Host WILL Do

  • Guide the group through the scheduled itinerary and keep everyone updated about timings, meeting points and activities.
  • Coordinate scheduled group transfers, activities and experiences included in your itinerary.
  • Help with basic trip-related coordination when the group needs assistance.
  • Share useful information about the destination, meeting points, transportation and planned activities.
  • Help the group navigate changes caused by local conditions, events, weather, road closures or operational changes wherever possible.
  • Support you if you are unsure about where to meet the group or how a scheduled activity works.
  • Help create a fun, comfortable and inclusive group environment.
  • Be your go-to person for trip-related questions during the scheduled itinerary.

What Your Trip Host WILL NOT Do

  • Your host is not a personal assistant, private guide or concierge for individual travellers.
  • They are not responsible for planning your personal free-time itinerary or taking you to specific cafés, restaurants, shopping spots or attractions.
  • They will not be able to accompany every traveller individually during free time.
  • They are not responsible for carrying your luggage or personal belongings.
  • They cannot change the entire group's itinerary because one traveller wants to visit a different place.
  • They cannot guarantee last-minute restaurant bookings, shopping visits, specific cafés or activities outside the itinerary.
  • They are not responsible for personal expenses, lost belongings

During Free Time

  • Free time is your time to explore Korea your way. Your host can suggest places, routes or ideas where possible, but you are responsible for making your own arrangements.
  • If you want to visit a particular café, restaurant, shopping area, beauty store or attraction, you are welcome to explore it independently or with your fellow travellers.
  • If You Miss the Group
  • The group itinerary runs according to fixed timings. If you are late for a meeting point, miss a transfer or choose to leave the group during an activity, you may need to arrange and pay for your own transportation to rejoin the group.
  • Please keep your host informed whenever possible rather than disappearing from the group.

Language & Host Communication

  • Our hosts primarily communicate in Hindi and English, and all important information and instructions will be shared in both languages wherever possible.
  • However, jokes, fun conversations, spontaneous moments and the overall group vibe may naturally flow in whichever language the host is most comfortable using at that moment.
  • We request travellers not to force or expect the host to communicate in one specific language throughout the trip. If you ever have difficulty understanding something, please feel free to ask for clarification or use a translation tool.
  • The idea is simple — important information will always be communicated clearly, while the fun and vibe stay natural and unfiltered.

The Golden Rule

  • We handle the trip. You handle yourself. 😉
  • Come prepared to be punctual, flexible, respectful and independent. Your host will take care of the planned group experience — you bring your own energy, curiosity and sense of adventure.
  • This works best when everyone understands that TWC is here to host the group, not to be everyone's personal travel assistant.
6. What should I expect from hotels & early hotel check-in & Amenities?
  • Asian hotel rooms can be more compact than what some Indian travellers may be used to. Rooms may typically be around 18–20 square metres, Smaller than Indian Standards.
  • The hotels are selected for their central locations, making it easier for you to explore shopping areas, cafés and other attractions during your free time.Early check-in can be requested but is not guaranteed. Checkin by 3 Pm only
  • Hotels generally follow fixed check-in timings, so please plan your arrival accordingly.
  • Hotels may not provide the same toiletries you may expect from Indian hotels.
  • We recommend carrying your own toothbrush and personal toiletries.
  • Bottled water may not be provided free of charge in the way you may be used to in India.
  • Hotels may have water coolers, or you can purchase bottled water from nearby convenience stores.

Luggage Storage

  • Most hotels offer luggage storage for a few hours before check-in and up to 1–2 days after check-out, subject to availability and hotel policy.
  • You can personally request the hotel staff to store your luggage based on your flight arrival or departure time, especially if you’ll be returning to the same hotel to collect it later.
  • Please coordinate directly with the hotel reception, as luggage storage arrangements cannot be guaranteed by us.
7. So… What Exactly Is the TWC Vibe?

First things first — Trips With Cherry is NOT your traditional tour group.

We’re not the “wake up at 6 AM, breakfast at 6:30, bus leaves at 7:02, photo stop for exactly 12 minutes” kind of trip. 😭

TWC is built for people who want to travel, vibe, laugh, explore, make friends, create memories and actually FEEL the city — not just tick 17 tourist attractions off a checklist.

Think travel buddies + curated experiences + group madness + café hopping + shopping + nightlife + spontaneous plans + lots of pictures, reels and memories.

WHO SHOULD SIGN UP?

You’ll probably love travelling with us if you:

✨ Are easy-going and flexible
✨ Love meeting new people and making travel friends
✨ Enjoy cafés, shopping, nightlife, local streets and hidden spots
✨ Like having fun beyond the itinerary
✨ Are comfortable travelling independently when required
✨ Understand that not every minute needs to be organised
✨ Can manage your own luggage and personal belongings
✨ Respect different personalities, food choices and lifestyles
✨ Don't mind waiting while your travel buddy takes her 47th picture 😭
✨ Enjoy taking pictures/reels — or are completely okay chilling while others do
✨ Can communicate respectfully when something bothers you
✨ Understand that travel sometimes comes with delays, weather changes and last-minute adjustments
✨ Want an experience rather than a conventional packaged tour.

You can absolutely come solo. In fact, many people do. The whole idea is that you arrive without knowing everyone and hopefully leave with a new travel gang.

🎥 YES, WE CREATE A LOT OF CONTENT

  • This one deserves its own section.
  • TWC is not only a travel company. We are also a socially active content and media brand.
  • We shoot reels. We take pictures. We vlog. We capture random funny moments. Sometimes someone will say, “Waitttt, do that again for the reel!” 😂
  • That's part of our world.
  • You are NEVER required to participate. Don't like reels? Sit that one out. Don't want pictures? Step away from the shoot. No pressure.
  • But please don't join us and later complain that “everyone was making content all the time.”
  • That's a little like going to a karaoke bar and complaining that people are singing. 😭

Participation in content is optional. TWC creating content is not.

❤️ WHAT WE ABSOLUTELY TOLERATE

  • Different personalities. Different languages. Introverts. Extroverts. Someone wanting to party while someone else wants to sleep. Someone spending two hours shopping while another person sits in a café.
  • We understand that everyone travels differently.
  • You don't have to become best friends with everyone. You don't have to participate in every optional activity. You don't have to drink, party, make reels or dress a certain way.
  • Just bring respect, flexibility and good energy.

🚫 WHAT WE DON'T TOLERATE

  • Disrespectful behaviour towards hosts, co-travellers, hotel staff, drivers or local partners.
  • Constant comparison with another tour company — “But XYZ Tours did this…”
  • Creating unnecessary drama because the group doesn't operate according to one person's personal preferences.
  • Forcing the entire group to change plans for individual shopping, food, sleep or personal requirements.
  • Expecting the host to behave like a personal assistant.
  • Repeated lateness that makes the entire group wait.
  • Making someone uncomfortable about their clothes, age, lifestyle, food, language, personality or choices.
  • And most importantly — disrespecting another traveller's boundaries or privacy.
  • We're relaxed about fun. We're not relaxed about disrespect.

🚌 TWC VS A TRADITIONAL TOUR

Traditional tour: Follow the flag. 🚩
TWC: Follow the vibe. 🍒

Traditional tour: Maximum sightseeing.
TWC: Curated sightseeing + actually experiencing the city.

Traditional tour: Tour guide.
TWC: Host + travel buddy energy.

Traditional tour: Fixed group behaviour.
TWC: You still have your independence.

Traditional tour: Photo and move.
TWC: Photo, reel, coffee, gossip… okay NOW move. 😂

Traditional tour: Mostly itinerary-driven.
TWC: Experience-driven.

That doesn't mean there is no structure. Transfers, booked experiences, meeting times and important schedules need to be respected. But we don't want your holiday to feel like a school excursion.

WHO MAY NOT ENJOY TWC?
  • TWC might not be the right fit for you if you want every minute scheduled, expect constant hand-holding, dislike social groups or content creation around you, need everyone to follow your personal routine, or prefer a conventional tour-guide-led experience. And that's completely okay.
  • There are amazing traditional tour companies designed exactly for that style of travel.
  • We're simply not trying to be one of them.
  • THE TWC RULE IS PRETTY SIMPLE Come solo. Come curious. Come with an open mind. Participate when you want. Opt out when you don't.
  • Respect the itinerary when timing matters. Respect your co-travellers always.
  • Take the pictures. Skip the pictures. Dance. Shop. Café hop. Explore. Laugh too loudly. Make new friends. Just don't bring unnecessary drama.

You aren't signing up for an ordinary tour.
You're signing up for the TWC experience.

8. Content & Media Usage Policy – Trips With Cherry (TWC)
  • Trips With Cherry is a social travel community, and capturing memories, experiences and the overall group vibe is a natural part of our trips.
  • By joining a TWC group trip, travellers acknowledge that photos and videos may be captured during group activities, experiences, transfers, meals, events and other shared moments. Such content may be used by TWC across its social media, website, YouTube, advertisements, promotional material and other digital platforms.
  • Personal Content : Travellers are welcome to capture and share their own trip memories. However, please be respectful of other travellers’ privacy and avoid filming someone in a private or uncomfortable situation without their permission.
  • TWC Content : Content created, commissioned or professionally shot by the TWC team—including planned shoots, interviews, reels, photographs and branded content—may be edited, published and repurposed across TWC's marketing and communication channels.
If You Don't Want to Be Filmed
  • If you are uncomfortable appearing in content, please inform the TWC team before the trip and remind the host at the beginning of the trip. We will make reasonable efforts to avoid identifiable close-ups or individually focused content featuring you.
  • Please understand that complete exclusion from background footage, large group photographs or public/shared spaces may not always be practically possible.
  • Respect the Group : No traveller should intentionally record or publish another traveller during sensitive, private, embarrassing or personal moments without their consent.
  • TWC aims to keep content fun, respectful and representative of the real travel experience while respecting the comfort and privacy of everyone travelling with us.

Please Don’t Compare TWC With Traditional Travel Groups

  • TWC is not just a travel company — we are also a content and media-driven community. Capturing real travel moments, making reels, shooting videos and sharing our experiences socially is a core part of what we do.
  • We completely understand if content creation or such vibe is not your thing, and you are never expected or forced to participate. You are always free to step away or opt out when we are shooting.
  • However, complaints during or after the trip that “too much content was being created” may not be fair, as this is clearly communicated as part of the TWC experience.
  • Please sign up with us if you are comfortable travelling with a socially active, fun group where capturing and creating content naturally happens along the way.
  • Participation is optional. Content creation by TWC is not.

What You Pay for Expectation Vs Reality

💭 Expectation vs Reality (What You’re Paying For)

You are paying for a well-planned, safe, and curated group travel experience—not luxury, not backpacker chaos, but a balanced mix.
Hotels will be clean, comfortable, and centrally located—not ultra-luxury resorts.

The focus is on experiences, smooth logistics, and group coordination, not perfection in every small detail.

Our trips are designed around experiences, not just sightseeing. Every activity included in the itinerary comes with an associated cost, and the package pricing reflects this.

If you choose to opt out of any included experience, you must inform us at least 30 days in advance to be considered for a cost adjustment. Please note that transportation and buses will not be provided for activities you choose to skip.

Our itineraries are not meal-focused. We believe food is best enjoyed flexibly and on the go. While we’re happy to suggest good places to eat, it is not feasible to arrange meals at every location. Vegetarian travelers are advised to carry snacks or food options that suit their preferences.

Please be mindful that cities like these are expensive even for basic living. A significant portion of your trip cost—approximately 70%—goes toward accommodations, activities, and transportation, with the remainder covering mandatory government taxes. Do not expect luxury upgrades or special inclusions beyond what is clearly mentioned in the package.

We strongly encourage travelers to evaluate the package thoroughly before booking. No refunds will be issued based on personal perceptions of value or experience after the trip. The overall experience depends greatly on how much you choose to engage and participate.

Lastly, every traveler is free to enjoy the trip in their own way. If you prefer to disengage, rest early, or skip social activities, that is entirely your personal choice.

Trip Host & Vibe Expectations
  • 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Trip Host & Vibe Expectations

Trip hosts are here to guide, coordinate, and manage the itinerary to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone. They are not personal assistants, babysitters, or on-call guides during free time.

Group trips work best when travelers are open-minded, respectful, punctual, and positive. Bring your own fun, stay flexible, and the experience becomes truly magical ✨

  • Role of Trip Hosts

Trip hosts are dedicated to making your journey joyful, well-organised, and memorable, but they are not personal attendants. Please avoid unnecessary demands or repetitive requests. Human bandwidth is limited, but hosts are always approachable for genuine assistance.

  • First-Time Travelers

We’re happy to support and guide first-time international travelers and help ease any nervousness. However, your belongings, safety, health, and well-being remain your personal responsibility at all times.

Hosts may not be able to give one-on-one attention to every traveller constantly, so active participation and involvement from your side is important—it’s your trip. If you feel shy, taking the first step to engage will help you enjoy the group experience more.

  • Communication & Attention

Please pay attention when trip hosts are explaining plans, schedules, or instructions. Missing briefings or choosing not to listen cannot later be claimed as “not informed.” Clear instructions are shared because past experiences show that many travellers skip reading itineraries or updates.

This is not a traditional guided tour focused on historical explanations. Our trips are modern, experience-led, and vibe-focused. Hosts may also help create reels, photos, and special moments—only if you’re comfortable with it.

  • Self-Research & Exploration

Travellers are encouraged to do basic research about places they’re visiting. Information changes frequently, and while hosts can suggest and guide, they may not always have real-time updates on every spot.

  • Transport & Local Etiquette

Cab drivers and transport staff are not personal butlers. Assistance is limited to reasonable expectations, and respectful behavior is essential. International trips come with different cultural norms—please avoid comparing them to Indian hospitality. Approach the journey as an explorer, stay adaptable, and focus on good vibes 🌍✨
